Assalamu-alaikum!!

Assalamu-alaikum!! How are you guys doing? My first blog on Crescent Community Radio, hope you’re all well. First of all I have got to get used to writing proper English again and not slang, due to too much texting!

It’s been a week since the Eid party and it was an absolute privilege meeting you and being a part of the event. It was absolutely brilliant seeing Milad Raza and Aashiq-E-Rasool live in Rochdale! It was a sell-out! What did you think of the event?

It’s now the second week of the holidays (I say second as I have another week to go ), hope you’re enjoying them despite the freezing weather.

Also I’ll be on three times a week until the end of next week, my usual LUL programme on Saturdays, the Youth Show on Mondays and also Friday’s Drive (filling-in for Baji Zahida).

Happy islamic new year, 2009 and may Allah make this year the most prosperous in terms of deen, health and opportunities.
