Below are the semi-finalists from the 16th August:

Naat Competition*

• Zobia Naz – aged 9
• Adam Khan – aged 9
• Naveed and Hameed Khaliq – aged 15
• Usama Malik – aged 16

Qiraat Competition

• Simran Ali – aged 11
• Harris Hussain – aged 10
• Gulshan Salim – aged 11

Well done to all those who have qualified for the semi-finals and commiserations to those who didn’t make it. Keep working hard and pracitising because it (so far) has been a very close competition!

P.S. there will be a freestyle show (where anyone can ring in) commencing from the 25th of August 2011.

* as the marking was so close, after a long time analysing the competitor’s efforts, the judges could not decide on the three to go through. As they came to this conclusion, they felt that it would be fair if four (on this occasion) progressed.

Just to let you know our Ramadhan Schedule is up here on the site.
Also we have competitions each day including the Qir’aat competition for under 16s (Mon-Thurs 3-4pm), the Naat competition for under 16s (Mon-Thurs 2-3pm) and adults (Wed). Not to forget the Alisha Fashion Boutique competition which runs daily.
