Crescent Aid Qurbani Appeal Report 2008

On Monday 3rd November 2008 Crescent Aid launched its Qurbani appeal on Crescent Community Radio (97 FM) Rochdale.

Over 100 people responded with their qurbanis and we have managed to buy and distribute:

· 19 Full Cows

· 26 Goats

These have now been sent to various remote regions of Azad Kashmir, such as Bagh and Poonch.

In addition to this some qurbanis have been sent to Bangladesh so that they too can join in the happiness of Eid.

We would like to thank all those who offered their qurbanis with Crescent Aid this year and pray that Allah (swt) accepts this humble effort of ours. (Ameen)
